Naturally Nude...

This was right before I removed the polish. It had been on for about 4 days!

HAPPY FRIDAY everyone!! Today I wanted to talk briefly about my most favorite Nude nailposh. Nude seems to be sort of and "all the time" trend. Or at least it is for me. I love wear nude, whether its on my nails, my eyes, my lips or my feet!! I think nude beauty and fashion trends ( excluding some, lol, don't take the whole "nude" thing too far!) are fabulous, elegant and very classic. Nude, black, grey and navy are colors that are a must have in my closet and beauty drawer. What are your must have classic colors?

Anyways...

I have been seriously loving these two nail items! The main focus of this post is the Nude color, O.P.I. Samoan Sands. I am so in love with this! But, I also wanted to mention briefly the Sally Hansen "Hard as Nails" clear polish in Crystal Clear.

This polish has been my go-to nude color for quite a while now. I find it weird that I haven't really heard or seen too much hype on this color on blogs or youtube. But, that is all made up for on Pinterest, where I first found this little beauty. Every beautiful nail design used this color as the nude polish. I kept browsing Pinterest until I couldn't stand it anymore, I just had to have it. Simple-as-that. It was love at first application. For my skin tone this is the perfect nude to blend in with my skin tone. I really think that it will also look great on darker skin tones as well. I think that it will be more of a statement, which I wish it was on my nails, because it is just fabulous. The color has more pinkish undertones rather than a more sandy one. This is a perfect classic, no fuss polish. Especially if you work somewhere, where you are not supposed to wear polish! It will perfect your nails without being obvious. I just love it!

I just wanted to mention really quick how much I have been loving this polish also. I ran to wal-mart the other night because I wanted to do my nails, but I didn't have a top coat. Needless to say I couldn't find one there and this about the cheapest clear I could find. I wasn't expecting too much from it, but boy was I surprised. This is not a top coat. But I think that right now it works great as one. I don't own anything else from the "Hard as Nails" Line but I really want to now!! It did help harden my nails and it also helped my polish to last and stay shiny! I received very little chipping from this. It was much better than Seche Vite for me. So if you are in the market for a cheap top coat I would definitely recommend checking this one out first! I will be sure to let you know more about it the longer I use it!

What is your favorite nude polis? & do you own anything form the Sally Hansen "Hard as Nails" line? If so, what is your favorite color?

Thank you so much for stopping by!! If you have any question please feel free to ask!

Morgan

Bath and Body Works Haul!

I usually only burn a, significant, ridiculous amount of candles during the holiday season. I'm not quite sure why that is, maybe the delicious smell? Or the beautiful packaging... I really don't know. Beings that B&BW was having a sale and I had a coupon, which always makes life better, I bought a few things!

Obviously this isn't the largest B&BW haul you have probably ever seen, it was all that I really wanted/needed. I'm sure that will change around the time of Halloween.

I have never owned the Villa Bergamot candle, nor could I pronounce the name lol, but my first impression was that it smelt fabulous!!

The description on the bottom of the candle is:
Armomatic bergamot grown in the warm and sunny Calabria region of Italy provided the inspiration for this elegant citrus blend that also includes lavender and geranium.

I love the smell of this candle. It reminds me of a clean man, fresh out of the shower!! Which is always a good thing, lol.

The second candle I purchased was Paris Daydream. My mom has purchased one of these for me before. I love it! It isn't too heavily scented, which is nice. I haven't ever been to paris, although that would be lovely, so I'm not sure what it smells like there. But, this candle smells light and elegant. It reminds me more of a fancy, Chanel loving, fabulous woman!! Which is also, a good thing!!

The description on the bottom provided:
Our "Oh so French" blend of watery notes, moss and mandarin. Imagine a day by the Seine in the City of Love!

That sounds overly pleasant to me<3

I hope that you enjoyed this short little haul from B&BW! Be sure to share with me your purchases in a comment below! I would love to know what your favorite candle scent is!

Until Next Time...

A little trip to the lake...

This past week my family and I went on a small trip, just Sunday through Tuesday, to White Lake in North Carolina. It was so great to see all of my family and we had so much fun! Although this isn't beauty related, it is more of my personal life, I wanted to share some pictures with you all!

Leinwand's was the largest "department store" in town. It was still pretty small, but had some great things!! They carry brands like Southern Tide, Vineyard Vines and more. Those are so of my favorite brands for men, lol, aka Jay<3

Speaking of Jay...
Here he is modeling his Gucci glasses and Vineyard Vines T Shirt.

The main street in Elizabeth town was so pretty! It has such a small town feel. I LOVE it!

Some more brands that Leinwand's carries.

Jay the model. He is just so photogenic!

My lovely hair day, not really.

Oh... AND the outfit awful beyond awful!!
T Shirt and Shorts- JCrew
Shoes- Crocs

It seriously rained the WHOLE trip! I didn't pack any rain boots, so that explains the crocs.

Melvins', Melvins', Melvins' !!!
SOOOOOOO delicious. I am absolutely in love. This place has the best hamburgers and hotdogs and they are so cheap.

A little 'Merica for the 4th.

My love<3

I hope that you all enjoyed this little preview of our long weekend and enjoyed seeing more into my personal life! I have been struggling with awful internet, but I have tons of posts planned and should have my June Favorites up soon!!

Until next time...

XOXO,
Morgan
