Father's Day Gift Guide

Father's Day Gift Guide

Burberry Watch // Bleu de Chanel // W&M Tervis // Sperry Top Siders // Vineyard Vines Belt

Father's Day is quickly approaching and I am still on the lookout for the present! My dad has always been a huge part of my life and one of the reasons behind all of my success. I am so proud to call him my daddy however I dread trying to find him a gift! He is sooo hard to shop for he pretty much buys anything  he wants, which makes things hard for me! While searching for a gift for him I though I would share some of my favorite finds as well as the classics that dad's can always use... boat shoes? lol

What are you getting for your dad this year?

Neutrals & Pink!

Neutrals & Pink!

I am totally and completely obsessed with summer and could not be happier that it has arrived!! In my opinion summer is for cookouts, family and friends, ice cold drinks, fab fashion, glowy skin and of course pops of bright color! My wish list is growing, out of control, with the season. I seriously cannot get a grip on myself! Today, I decided to share some of my favorite neutral products and bright colored products, focusing on pink, with you all!

Glowing skins and shades of gold are always a must but more so emphasized in the summer. On a recent trip to Washington D.C. (about 3 hours from my home) I swatched a few Tom Ford quads at the counter an instantly fell head of heels, I mean REALLY. I also tried on a lipstick and was completely shocked. I did not purchase anything but literally can't wait until I can. The products were so smooth and pigmented. All in all they were just fabulous and I must get a hold of some soon!

It could be just me, or not, but I feel like sunglasses are always on a girls wish list? I mean, you can never have too many pairs. The possibilities are really endless. With that being said, I have had my eye on a few different pairs of Celine sunglass recently and can not decide which ones I want! Literally hardest decision ever! On the same trip to D.C., I tried on a pari of Tom Ford glasses (fell in love) and a pair of Fendi glasses (same as the TF) that were both similar to the Celine and that instantly made my decision even MORE difficult! I am at a loss here. I loved the appearance of the Tom Ford glasses, they were gorg, however they didn't have the weight that the Celine and Fendi one's did which led me to think the quality may not be as nice. The Fendi glasses were amazing beautiful and felt as if they had the same quality as the Celine but Saks did not have the color I wanted so I left empty handed.

The Tory Burch summer wedges, above, are so perfect for this summer. I adore them, I really do. They are comfortable and perfect for any outfit and who doesn't love Tory Burch? That's what I thought... On vacay I realized that my target sale hat from 3 years ago was no longer presentable and that I need to find a new straw hat asap for this summer. This Tory Burch one is perfect but will still have to remain on the "Wish List" for a little bit longer.

Now... for the pink! For the past, let's say 3 months I have been dying to get my hands on a pair of Kendra Scott earrings. I can't really decide what color I want though, so that makes things difficult. Actually I just want one of each color, but unfortunately I can't afford that! So for right now I'm trying to decided whether I should go with the hot pink or a mint color. What do you think? Finally, we have arrived at this BEAUTIFUL YSL clutch. Isn't this just the perfect accessory? It's just like bam I'm a  boss, back up!  It's so fabulous I just love it lol!

I hope that you were able to stick through this wordy and lengthy blogpost! IF so I thank you!! I would love to know what you are loving for summer right now?

Eleuthera

Jay and I at Tippy's (the best pizza on the island)

I am currently sitting in the Nassau airport, on my five hour layover, writing this post. Jay and I are on our way home from an amazing vacation in Eleuthera (an island in the Bahamas). Our trip has been beyond fabulous and was made so by great company and a breathtaking view!

Beautiful sunset at Tippy's

Eleuthera is a kind, fun and special island. The natives are beyond friendly (unlike other islands) and extremely helpful and willing to share anything they know. Whether you are looking for an adventurous vacation filled with exploring or you are just looking to relax on a beach with soft white and pink sand with turquoise water, Eleuthera has it all. The food is phenomenal and you can't find any better barbecue chicken. The island dogs (potcakes) and cats will steal your heart with their charmingly friendly personalities. I am truly so sad to be leaving however I am on my way to see my little potcake and I am jumping with excitement. Our trip has been filled with beautiful sunsets, suspensful snorkeling (barracudas are a little scary with those sharp teeth), delicious food, the best family and of course plenty of Kalik (the best beer in the Bahamas)!!

My Ocean Palm Koozie went international & Kalik of course
Stone Crabs are my new favorite, so delicious!
Sunset at the Fish Fry in Governors Harbour (the Fish Fry is a must!)
Beautiful drink and a beautiful view at the Beach House
Traveling with Louis and Vuitton is always better (PS that passport was an adventure in itself, don't let your expire! lol)
She was so precious and I just couldn't leave her alone!

While traveling, I have realized how much I have missed blogging and making videos. It has seriously been months since I have posted a video. A little relaxation has done me well and I think I am ready to start blogging again! I will be trying to put together a list of blog and video ideas. If you have any recommendations please let me know!

Mother's Day Gift Guide

Mother's Day Gift Guide

In preparation for Mother's Day, I thought that it would be essential to share some of my favorite picks for Mother's day! Mom's are god's greatest gift to girls, and well everyone really. Mom's are THE BEST. My mom is my best friend and the person I go to for everything. She always knows the right thing to say and I truly could not have been blessed with any better mom. I always depend on my mom to be the judge of what clothes to wear and what looks good and what doesn't.
Without her I would be lost.
So, I just wanted to thank my mom and all the moms out there for being absolutely amazing!!
THANK YOU!!

If you are a last minute shopper, like me, I hope these items can give you an idea or inspiration as to what to get your mom for Mother's Day!

Verandas, The Art of Outdoor Living, book is absolutely beautiful and essential for anyone who loves lush and extravagant gardens. I bought it for my mom for Christmas and find myself gazing at it often! Who doesn't love anything from William Sonoma. I know my mom and I both do! I have been obsessed with purple this spring and think that this french lavender soap and lotion combo would be a perfect give for mom! I am a lover of moisturizing lip balms and what is more perfect than a rouge coco shine from Chanel! I love buying my more Chanel makeup because she isn't really the type to spend a lot of money on having 8 lipsticks. She keeps things simple. A Chanel rouge coco shine is the best way to ad moisture and  a little color too. Lastly, I have a key chain from Tory Burch. This reva flat key fob is to die for, and is so adorable.

Mother's Day is all about saying "thank you" for all the things mom's do for us daily, that often go unnoticed.
How do you plan to spend Mother's Day this year?

Let's Talk Pinterest!

It seems as though, these days, the only time I get to blog/vlog is well never. Whenever I get on I am always apologizing for not posting frequently. With that being said, I am sorry for not posting as frequently!! School is kicking my butt, literally, and I am so busy that I barely ever have time to make a video. It is easier for me to blog, which I really love, but it seems as though every subscribed to my youtube channel and not my blog! I really love blogging and want to do it more often, I just rarely find the time to sit down an write for fun not for school. So, I just wanted to update you that I am still busy and that I will hopefully be posting more frequently this summer, aka by May!

This semester has flown by, like really, and I am so beyond ready for summer, no school or responsibilities, and warm weather! I'm sure I'm not the only one? Anyways, today I wanted to share with you a new love of mine...

Here's the scoop...

A few years back, one of my friends signed me up for Pinterest through my personal Facebook account. At the time I had no idea what Pinterest was nor did I know what to do with it. Nowadays, I am a little bit more up to speed with the whole Pinterest concept and I am completely obsessed!! If you aren't following me on Pinterest you should, because I want to follow you too!!

Here is a link to my Pinterest Page:

Some of my favorite pinners are:

Sarah Belle
Mackenzie Horan
Mackenzie Kendall

& I'm sure there will  be more to come!

So while I am busy doing homework, sitting in class and everything else I am supposed to be doing I am usually pinning too! That is a good way for us to keep up with each other!

Also, I have been posting more often on Instagram so be sure to follow me here!

Until next time...

Current Spring Wish List

Current Spring Wish List

Chanel Cream Blush // Celine Sunglasses // Kate Spade Salt & Pepper Shakers // Bean Boots // Tory Burch Key Fob // Tom Ford Nail Polishes

( For some reason I can't get my links to all be one color, fail, sorry!!)

I have to say, it must be pink! I have been crushing on some of these items for quite some time and others, well, they are just to great not to share. I have wanted a pair of bean boots for quite some time and if you have to you know that they have been sold out everywhere for a while. I don't not which exact pair I want, I just know that I am dying to get a pair! Don't get me wrong, I love my rain boots but walking on campus in clunky rain boots isn't always great for running late. Hopefully, I will get around to getting a pair soon. A couple weeks ago I had to pick up some new makeup items (blogpost on that here) and spent a little too much at sake, so I received a coupon for $50 off a pair of sunglasses. Of course upon receiving that gift card I went straight to the sunglass area to take a look. I was shocked to see that they had Celine sunglasses an instantly fell in love with the pair above! They were gorge, like really stunning! I decided to wait and come back after I thought about them for a while. When I returned to purchase they only had one pair, the one's that were out for everyone to stick on their face, and they didn't fit! I was devastated. Now, I am on the hunt for a place to buy them since it is sort of difficult to find them online.
If you stalk the Tory Burch website, you are not alone (lol), you know that they have bags and accessories in this beautiful hot pink color, New Carnival. I have always wanted the key fob that is a small purse and now they have it in this beautiful hot pink color!! YES. Speaking of hot pink, Tom Ford has some beautiful nail colors for spring including the a gorgeous pink shade. I literally have so many hot pink nail polishes, the last thing I need is another one. But a girl can dream right? I have been dying to try Tom Ford cosmetics but I can't get them where I live and I don't always like to order online. But, while browsing online I found this beautiful Chanel Cream Blush in a neon pink from their spring collection.
Lastly, while looking around on the Kate Spade I found these salt & pepper shakers! Seriously, aren't they the cutest thing? I love gold and navy and polka dots too! They are so nautical and would be great for summer. I must save up!!

What is on your current spring wish list? I would love to know!!

YSL & Giorgio Armani Haul!

As you know, I have recently been on a "no buy" for makeup! I have been doing really good and have actually found other things to buy to satisfy my craving (yes I have come to the realization that I have a problem). The other day I had to buy some makeup because I ran out of concealer, bronzer, foundation and mascara all within like two weeks! So I did what was necessary and went to Saks! I left with completely opposite of what I had planned on buying and surprisingly  I am happy with what I got so far!

What I purchased..

Swatches will be at the bottom of the post!

(1) YSL Touche Eclat in No. 1 (2) YSL Multi-Action Concealer in No.1 (3) Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in No. 2 (4) Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Mascara

With my purchase (of spending too much) I received a bag with samples! Lot's of perfume samples and a few skincare samples. I wasn't really too crazy about the samples, however I am interested in the $50 off a $250 sunglasses purchase! I just need to read the terms to see if they fit the pair I want!!

Have you made ay great purchases lately?
