Favorite: Bath & Body Products!

Left: Body Scrub
Right: Hand Creme

Today I wanted to tell you a little bit about my new favorite bath  & body products!  This collection by Laura Mercier  is just amazing. My favorite scent out of the collection is the Creme de Pistache ( hence why I own this one lol). I can not do this product justice in describing just how yummy it smells! I only own two of the products in this collection because they are a little on the pricey side, or at least what I would consider pricey.  But after using these two, I must say they are well worth the money you will spend. Back in the winter a salesperson at my counter gave me a sample of the hand creme in Fresh Fig. I'm not going to lie, it made me itch (literally). So that kind of turned me off to the whole collection for a while. Until a few months ago when I watched  thecurrentcustom's video on these products. It sparked my interest again on the collection and I am so glad it did! This time I decided to go purchase the body scrub, in the scent creme de pistache,  just to give it a try.

This body scrub is hands down my favorite body scrub I have EVER used. It smells so delicious. I just like to sit and smell it sometimes (lol).  I often find that most body scrubs leave this nasty, oily residue that I just can not stand ( I already have oily skin, I don't want to make it any worse!). This one however, leaves NO residue (which is awesome)! Another problem that I have found with body scrubs is that they can either be to rough or not rough enough, this one however is neither! It has just enough texture to exfoliate skin without being too rough. At the same time is has a kind of creamy, whipped consistency that feels moisturizing on the skin. I highly recommend this body scrub, it is amazing.

Although the body scrub is great, I do not really feel as if you get your money's worth out of the hand creme. It smells just as good as the body scrub and feels great on your hands. But, if you are looking for a more thick or repairing hand creme this would not be suited for you. To me the consistency of this hand creme is more like a lotion than a creme. It's not that I don't like the creme, because I do, I just don't feel like it is worth $15.

This collection comes in five different scents: Creme de Pistache, Creme Brulee, Fresh Fig, Almond Coconut Milk, and Ambre Vanille.  I bought my products at Nordstrom. I cannot wait to try the rest of the collection!

Back to School: Marc Jacobs Tote

It's that time of year again, back to school. Some people dread this time of year, but others often like it ( or like back to school SHOPPING). I was trying to decided what my first blog post would be when I thought, why not share my favorite tote bag for this fall. My new school bag is this Marc by Marc Jacobs tote bag. It is so comfortable to carry and hold everything I need! It has many great pockets on the inside and out to hold thing (such as pens, pencils, water, calculator, and etc..).  It also has cute accents, like the knots on the handles and the Marc Jacobs logo pattern on the inside of the bag. The material of the bag allows water to repel off of it ( I found out the other day when it was pouring!). These bags are stylish and comfortable to carry. It is fashionable but not too trendy, therefore it will be in style as long as it lasts! Which is probably going to be a long time as well made as it is. I believe that even though this bag was a little pricey for a school bag it was money well spent. It is great quality and very pretty. I will be using this bag a lot this school year!
Back of the bag.

It is also available in different sizes, colors, and patterns. I purchased my bag from Nordstrom.

Side of the bag.
Each side of the bag has a pocket like this. I put a bottle of water in one side and my calculator in the other!

Inside of the bag.
There is one zip pocket and to small open pockets for pencils and such.
