Planning 2014.

2014

I am always so inspired by my Lilly Pulitzer agenda!! It is preppy, chic, organized and, of course, inspiring. I found these other adorable agendas for 2014 and I just had to share them!! I can never really pen point my "style", I just don't really fit in anywhere. At my best guess I feel that I am a little bit of everything! Which, I mean, can't be too bad right?

I think each one of these planners hits my style right on the head. Simple yet flashy, Elegant but not boring, bold but not trashy, and of course classic all the way! The classiness and all of the colors just make me happy!

Have you picked out your planner for 2014?
What does it look like?!

Happy New Year!

2014.

2014!

2013 has been an incredible year for me. I have had ups and downs, failures and successes. I hit 1,00 subscribers on my youtube channel and then turned around and hit 2,000! In the eyes of some people, that may not be a large number, but for me it is beyond my dreams. I thank each and everyone of you who watches my channel and/or reads my blog. It truly means the world to me! I am anxious for the new year and everything it brings. In 2013, I earned my Associates Degree, was accepted into the college of my dreams, helped my family reopen a restaurant they used to own (in like less than a week) and so much more. I have acquired much more wisdom and knowledge than previous years and still have loads to learn. I am excited for a new year and a fresh start. It always feels good to do a little cleaning and start a fresh beginning. I have many goals for 2014 and plan on pushing myself to me my best for not only me but for and Jay and my family. I am going to strive to be different and not be timid of situations I am unfamiliar with. I am hoping to make the right choices, however sometimes the best lessons learned come from mistakes. I would like to to blog more and make all of my production quality better and more organized. Any ideas or input would help me more than you know, so keep the good ideas coming!

I put together this collage, with the help of my new favorite website Polyvore, as a little New Year inspiration! When I think of New Year's I always think of silver and gold, sparkles and of course a little bubbly! What comes to mind when you think about the New Year? I think a bright pink pout will add a nice touch to any sparkly outfit you have planned. I am still unsure as to what I am going to bring in the New Year in and I am quickly running out of time.

Before this post becomes three pages long, I am going to some it up with a big

THANK YOU!!

What is your New Year's Resolution?

Classic Fall Accessories!

The Fall season is now in full force and so is it's fashion and beauty! I am really not one to keep on trend and in reality I always try to go for more classics looks that I will get more wear out of! I don't mind investing in pieces, however I want to assure that they will be in style for a while! For some reason I always shift towards neutral colors like black, brown, white and navy! I don't feel that you have to have a million things in your closet you just need to know how to style what you have!

What are your favorite fall accessories?
Do you go for trendy or classic?

How I Curl My Hair!

I had many requests to film a video on how I curl my hair so I finally did! I hope that you all enjoyed it and found it helpful! These are a few products shown in the video that are necessities for me when styling my hair!

Brocato Saturation

My hands down favorite hair product is the Brocato Leave In Conditioner. This stuff is amazing! It detangles my hair and leaves it feeling soft and renewed. It also helps to give my ends a little more life a volume. Lastly, it protect my hair from damage throughout the day. No matter your hair color, type or texture this product is for you! I feel like every girl, and guy with long hair, needs this! I seriously love it that much! Unfortunately, I could not find a link to this and I am think maybe you have to get it from a hair professional :( However you can find it on amazon!
I also always like to add a little hair oil, whether it is Argan or Moroccan, to help hydrate and rejuvenate my end. I only apply oil to the ends of my hair because my scalp does not need any more oil... at all...like really...ok, you get the point, lol! Lately, I have been using the Josie Maran Argan Oil Hair Serum. It has been working well, I am really impressed as are most people with Josie Maran products. It does not have much of a scent, but that can be a good thing. It is also not over powering and it does not weigh my hair down at all which is a huge plus for me! I just might be buying the large size once I run out of this one!

CHI Enviro 54 Hair Spray $15

I use different hair sprays all the time butI always seem to come back to this one! Chi has amazing smelling hair products and I always get a good firm hold from this spray without any of the crunchy details!

Sultra Bombshell Curling Cone $130

My mother recently purchases me this curling wand, or as Sultra calls it a "cone", when my other one died. I must say I was shocked at how much I love this one! I was a little worried at first glance about the little "no slips" notches. But after a few uses, I had nothing to worry about. That is probably one of my favorite parts of the wand, other that how awesome it is in general!! This cone heats up to a constant 380 degrees that shortens curling and styling time and helps to make curls last. I love this because it is so easy to use and the no slip grips help so much in holding the hair onto the barrel! I would have to say that this is my favorite styling product I have every used and I would really like to try other products from this company! I would recommend this particular barrel to anyone looking to add so easy, quick curls or waves to their hair! You can create soft waves or tight curls and anything in between! I use this to achieve my everyday hair look!

The set that I have came with a cute pink heat protecting glove as well as a heat pad to prevent from burning the surface of whatever you place your cone on! I think that is great because so sets don't even come with glove!

I hope that you found this post helpful and found something interesting as well! If you have any more questions please feel free to ask! As well as any blog request!

What is your favorite styling tool or product?

Thank you!

MAC Holiday Collection Haul and First Impressions!

Recently I have been on the hunt and checking out all of the Holiday Collections for the 2013 season. I have not seen to many appealing options, however I caved when I saw this years MAC Holiday collections. That's just used one word "packaging!"When I first started expanding my makeup collection around 8th grade my parents bought me a MAC holiday set of pigments. I literally still use them to this day! MAC pigments are great investments because they last forever and have amazing color pay off and performance.
....
Enough rambling about MAC pigments and let's get on to what I bought!

The Fluidlines and Mineralized Shadows caught my eye first!

I purchased the Until Dawn Mineralized Eye Shadow which has a beautiful gold and taupe color. It has a fine shimmer/frost that is gorgeous. The colors can be used separately or mixed together for a great creation. I really like these shadows and they have great pigmentation, however I  haven't been impressed with the way they wear. Maybe it's my skin tone? I don't know, I'm just not digging it on me... yet.

I was in love with this "Deliciously Rich" fluidline at first sight. But unfortunately, once again, my first thoughts on this are not great. It is a beautiful bronze with gold shimmer that I just KNEW would be stunning for the holidays. However I am a bit disappointed in the consistency. It does not seem long wearing and takes a while to dry. I have heard that you can use fluid lines like paint pots and I am interest in trying this out all over my lid. If you have had the same problem and tried it please let me know how it worked out for you!

Just a few swatches.
Top left is the Until Dawn Mineralized Shadows.
Bottom right is the Deliciously Rich Fluidline

I did not have a brush to apply the fluidline, since I never use gel liner, so I purchased the MAC 210 Precise Eye Liner Brush.

Now on to my FAVORITE Part <3
Lipgloss.

I picked up the NUDE mini set of lipgloss from the Nocturnals Collection with a few hesitations. Let's just say I was capital W-R-O-N-G!! They colors are fabulous! I was concerned about the darkest shade, Richly Revered, and it has been my favorite out of all of the colors! I am a nude gal, as with makeup that is... ;) & I am obsessed with these glosses three are cremesheen glasses which are my fav and one is a dazzle glass which I have honestly been loving just as much! I am very seriously contemplating purchasing the other two sets, what do you think?

The colors are as following in all of the pictures, left to right and top to bottom.

All of the colors are very pigmented and beautiful!! They smell of vanilla like all MAC lip products. That is one of my favorite things about MAC lip products. They are all very comfortable on the lips and creamy, which I also love.

Phiff is a light beige nude Dazzleglass with some shimmer in it.

Boy Bait is one of my all time favorite MAC glosses. I have previously own few tubes of this and seem to always use it up! It is Cremesheen glass in a light neutral beige color with a pearl essence to it. This is one of those "My Lips but Better" shades!

Over Indulgence is an opaque neutral brown cremesheen glass. to me it has a few red undertones kind of like an auburn color.

Rich Revered is my first every Vampy lip color!! This cremesheen glass is a stunning vampy blue red that gives a daring mature to feel to your look!

I wanted to purchase a set of pigments but my store did not have the one I wanted! I am thinking of doing an online order for more products, which I probably shouldn't. But really, what's a girl to do?

See the rest of the collection HERE!

I would love to know what products you have purchased from the MAC holiday collections and what your thoughts are!

Are you planning on purchasing an holiday collections this year?

Thank you for stopping by!

Sephora VIB Sale Haul!

Like any VIB member, or Beauty Insider, I could not resist attending the VIB Sale! & of course I did not leave empty handed... However my every day skincare necessities as well as foundation seemed to be empty all at one time! So most of my purchases were skincare items.

I had recently purchased the Dior Glow blush which I have completely fallen head over heals for! So I decided to give this baby a try and have so far been amazingly shocked at it's ability to give me the perfect lip shade!

My lips BEFORE, very dry an nasty! ( Please excuse my scar!)

My lips AFTER! I could not get a before picture with a flash (angry face here). But you can see a difference. My lips are now obviously more moisturized as well as have a more pink cranberry color to them! & I am not lying when I say my lips match the inside of my mouth when wear this! It's true and kind of freaky!

My Origins eye cream is a little heavy for day time at the moment, so I decided to give this Clinique one a try! I have heard many good reviews on it and it seems light wearing which is good for me during the daytime.

I was out of my most current favorite foundation and was is desperate need of picking up a new one! I decided to go a shade light to #15. I am interest to see if I like this for colder months as much as I do the Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation.

If I am correct this product used to be in a stick for and/or they had a similar concept product that may have been discontinued. My first ever concealer was a concealer stick from Clinique that had acne fighting ingredients just like this one! This blemish hiding and fighting concealer contains salicylic acid to diminish blemishes while its color pigmentation hides them! I am hoping to be very pleased with this product.

My Makeup Forever foundation is SO long wearing it is almost nearly impossible to remove. I use the Chanel Eye makeup remover and decided to give this cleansing milk a go in hopes that it will remove my makeup with out breaking me out! Also, it will hopefully make the nightly skincare routine go a little smoother!

Since I was going with the whole "Clinique" themed skincare haul I picked up a new cleanser! This one looked acne friendly and I really like the blue color! To me, it just screams CLEAN!

This is my first ever purchase from Ole Henriksen and I am very curious as to how I will like it! I was looking for an oil free night time moisturizer (SPF free) and the sales associate at Sephora recommended this one to me! She informed me that it was oil free and should help with acne, or any kind of, scaring.

Swatch of the Makeup Forever Mat Velvet + Shade #15

Swatch of the Clinique Acne Solutions Clearing Concealer in shade #01

A comparison of the skincare items consistencies!

I decided to pick up this 500 point reward. I don't know why but recently I have been so obsessed with Dior!

The set came with a small size of the Dior Addict Eau de Toilette.
As well as a bracelet/necklace
and a
small sized Dior Addict Lipstick in #578 which is pictured above!

I hope that you found this post helpful in some way! Please feel free to let me know if you would like a further in depth review of any of these products or if you have any questions!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Sephora Haul!

My guilty pleasure when stressed, or anytime really, is shopping for makeup!

In this post and video I am sharing with you everything I bought!

If you order from Sephora, you probably know, that you always get samples!

I had two 100 point perks so I decided to try my first products from both Josie Maran and REN!

I have previously own the Laura Mercier loose powder in translucent and I loved it! So, I repurchased it!

I saw this mascara on the internet and could not turn down this beautiful packaging!

I'm not crazy about the brush or formula yet but we will see if my thoughts change, I have a feeling they will.

I have been itching to try something new from Dior so I decided to try this blush.

So far I really like this blush. It is supposed to adapt to your skin tone, which I can't figure out if it really does. But, the color it gives me I really love!!

I can't lie, I was completely inspired by Tiffany D's sephora haul video. I had to try this palette because it just seemed like a great deal and a good time to try out my first hourglass products!

This Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette is absolutely stunning and beautiful on the skin as well! I think that this would make a great and luxurious gift for anyone!

So far I am happy with everything I purchased! Be sure to check out my new video on this haul where I share more of my thoughts on these products!!

Thank you for stopping by!
